Souderton Area Girl's Lacrosse Association (SAGLA)
SAGLA was established by dedicated group of local coaches on the basis of providing girls in 3rd-8th grade the opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse in a positive, fun, and supportive environment. SAGLA is member of the the Tri-County Region of PAGLA (the Philadelphia Area Girls’ Lacrosse Association). PAGLA is a Chapter of US Lacrosse.
SAGLA is not only focused on developing good lacrosse skills and a love for the game but is an organization committed to providing our youth athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience. SAGLA has embraced the philosophy of the Positive Coaching Alliance and the Double Goal Coaching philosophy. The first goal is preparing and playing to win, and the second, more-important goal is teaching life lessons through sports.
SAGLA offers a 3/4 (no levels) lacrosse program, a "B" and "C" Level (5th/6th and 7th/8th grade) lacrosse program and the Sparks "A" Level competitive cacrosse (5th/6th and 7th/8th grade) program with tryouts in the fall for the following season. In 2016 SAGLA is celebrating 14 successful years of 3rd through 8th grade youth lacrosse (and its first year of K-2 lacrosse) along with hosting a yearly tournament (attended by 50+ teams in 2016!)
